BSA Honors Two High School Students

The Buffalo Society of Artists is committed to encouraging young artists to pursue their interest in the visual arts. The BSA sponsored two awards at two different venues.

On Sunday, February 3, 2017, Clarence High School’s Bernadette Woodbury’s Reluctancy, a charcoal on paper, received the BSA’s annual award at Daemen College’s All High Exhibition. Bernadette plans to further her studies in the visual arts and is currently selecting a college program. Congratulations, Bernadette. Photo (left): Bernadette Woodbury with her winning artwork.

On Sunday, April 2, 2017 the Kenan Center House Gallery presented several awards at the reception of the 32nd Annual Storrs All High Photo Exhibition. The BSA sponsored the Best of Show Award Student Processed. Congratulations to Brianna Weissman of Nardin Academy for receiving this award for her photograph These Shoes Were Made for Walking.
